One AZN 

"AZNWORLDWIDE began years ago, in a sketchpad as just a face. The face was a reflection of my feelings and just how I felt. To be real, it started as just a brand that I could use to push my ideas and concepts out. Mainly, I wanted to design clothes and also release music under it. I started to realize an organzation like that is pretty common, and I was doing nothing interesting. I saw a quote somewhere about how you should create art if it's adding to the world. Through years of growing up myself and also finding my voice, I realized bigger picture what I cared about and what I wanted to really do with a platform. I was always raised on the idea of a strong community, and throughout my life I was always surrounded by and found comfort in my general asian community. I always found that without a community, we are very empty people. For that reason, I wanted to create a platform, a space, where talented asian creatives could push their art and be celebrated. I wanted a place where we could do dope shit for the asian community that gets us excited and empowered. Thats where the goal of AZN really solidifed. I still use it to push my ideas and concepts, but I also want to push YOUR ideas and concepts too. Because we are one, we are AZN.

 

The name 'azn' is from the phrase that many Asian millennials used back when the internet started popping. It was a quick way to recognize that this random person with no face on the internet is just like me, Asian! In the simplest form, we were building a global community through 3 simple words. We all come from very different places, but with similar cultures and community values. We all have similar stories of our upbringings. We are not that different from each other, so why not find community and togetherness! Why not share beautiful music, video, art, design, and whatever else that expresses our creativity? That's why AZN Worldwide exists"
